I'm sure most of you have seen the news regarding the young girl captured over 18 years ago by a pedophile and forced to live in "squalor".  What a horrific story.  I shudder to think what condition she is in and how one would "migrate" her successfully back into society and if that is even possible.  My heart aches for those families involved.

We must do everything humanly possible to keep our young ones safe and ourselves as well.  There are so many really sick people walking the face of this earth and we don't know where they are.  We need to be "more observant" of our surroundings and call the police time and time again if we suspect anything out of the ordinary.  This man was allowed by the authorities, that are supposed to be in place to protect citizens,  to exist as long as he did so we must do their jobs and call until we get satisfaction no matter how many times that takes and no matter if we have to go way up the chain of command to do so - especially if things are not setting well with our heart about a matter.  We are our brother's keeper.
